Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to the 5 Brain (also known as “5BA”) and related 5 Brain websites and governs Data collection and usage. By using the 5 Brain and related 5 Brain websites, you consent to the Data practices described in this statement.

5 Brain (as used in this Privacy Statement “5 Brain,” “5BA,” “our,” “we,” or “us”) respects and shares your concern about your privacy and the privacy of your children. We are committed to protecting your Personal Information. You have a right to know what information we collect and how we may use it. The following Privacy Statement describes the information we collect and how we use this information. By using our websites and/or by enrolling your child at a 5 Brain center, you consent to the practices described in this herein.

WHAT TYPE OF INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Most 5 Brain Center are independently owned and operated, and the owners of these centers are our licensees (referred to as “5 Brain Center”). Most of the personal information we receive has been provided to us by you, typically when you visit one of our websites or enrol your child at a 5 Brain licensee center.
  • ENROLMENT AT A 5 BRAIN CENTER
    • When you enrol your child at a 5 Brain Center, you will be asked for your name, telephone number, e-mail address and other information necessary to serve your child’s assessment needs.
    • Similar information will be collected regarding your child. This information may subsequently transmit to us.
    • During your child’s enrolment at a 5 Brain Center, we may collect information about your child’s progress.
    • This information helps us support the operation of the 5 Brain Center, to better serve you and improve, and for other purposes listed below in “How We Use Personal Information”.
  • 5BRAIN.ORG
    • If you request information through our website or request that we schedule a parent discussion meeting at a 5 Brain Center, you will be prompted to provide your name, email address, physical address, and telephone number.
    • We collect and store this information to allow us to communicate with you and send you the information you have requested; or to schedule a parent discussion meeting.
    • We also may use this information to periodically send you, by email or text, various marketing information related to your child’s educational development.
    • 5 Brain also collects from visitors to our various websites non-personally identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as browser type, language preference, date, and time of each visitor request.
    • This data is used in an anonymous way, sometimes aggregated with other anonymous data about other users, for us to analyse the experience of visiting various 5 Brain websites

    • A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time a visitor returns.
    • 5 Brain uses cookies to identify and track return visitors and their use of our various websites.

  • Fulfilment of the contractual obligation of 5 Brain Center to provide 5 Brain Abilities Assessment to your child.

  • Compliance with a legal obligation, court order or to exercise or defend a legal claim;
  • Development and improvement of 5 Brain instructional methods;
  • Development and improvement of 5 Brain assessment materials;
  • To offer training to the employees and management of 5 Brain Center
  • Verification of your identity when you return to one of our websites;
  • To communicate with you via email, postal mail, phone and other means;
  • Protection against identify theft and prevention fraud or other unlawful activity;
  • Compliance with and enforcement of relevant standards, contractual obligations and our policies;
  • Response to your inquiries.

INFORMATION WE SHARE

We have never and will never rent or sell Personal Information to anyone.
We may disclose Personal Information to its employees, contractors, Instructors, our corporate parent, subsidiaries and affiliates that: (1) have a need to know that information in order to provide and improve educational enrichment service to your child or for the purposes listed in “How We Use Personal Information”; and (2) have agreed not to disclose any Personal Information to others. Other than as described in this paragraph, we will only disclose actual or potentially personally identifying information to third parties in response to court order or other valid governmental request.

HOW WE PROTECT PERSONAL INFORMATION?

RIGHT OF ACCESS/UPDATING/DELETION OF YOUR INFORMATION

You have the right to receive the Personal Information you have provided to us about you or your child, transmitted to another company, where it is technically feasible. You can request that we update or correct previously provided information. With certain exceptions, you may withdraw any consent you previously provided to us to the processing of your Personal Information and we will apply your preference going forward. This will not affect the lawfulness of our use of your information based on your consent before it was withdrawn. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY PROTECTION

5 Brain never intentionally collect or maintain any Personal Information about anyone under the age of 13, other than as needed to process information regarding parents/guardian information, enrolment, age details, gender and assess your child’s study at a 5 Brain Center.

OPT-OUT RIGHT

From time-to-time we may send you by means of e-mail, postal mail, or text message, commercial messages we believe may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive marketing or other commercial messages from us, simply follow the unsubscribe instructions contained in the message you receive from us.

PRIVACY POLICY CHANGES

We may change this Privacy Policy Statement from time to time in our sole discretion. We encourage visitors to our websites to frequently check this Privacy Policy Statement for any changes. Your continued use of 5 Brain website after any change in this Privacy Policy Statement will constitute your acceptance of and agreement to such change.
